Fabric 1.21.4 · v1.0.0 · release

Sleep on it.

Pillow is a client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.4 — 94 modules, an interface drawn in-engine with its own core shaders, and an aim stack that resolves targets on the tick it sends them. Every module is labelled with the hook it uses, so you know which half of the client you are running before you join anything.

Why this one

Four things done properly instead of forty done badly.

Feature lists are cheap. These are the parts of Pillow that took the longest and that you notice on the first session.

01 Interface

Drawn in-engine, not bolted on.

Most clients hand you an ImGui window sitting on top of the game. Pillow renders its own icons and text as MSDF glyph atlases and draws every panel with 23 custom core shaders — signed-distance rounded rects, real kawase bloom, liquid glass, gradient strokes. It scales with your GUI scale because it is the game drawing it.

  • 23 core shader programs, one registration each — a bad one degrades that effect, never the UI
  • 8 MSDF font atlases, sharp at any scale, no bitmap blur
  • Themes with live gradient endpoints, animated droplists and a real drag-and-drop HUD editor

02 Rotation engine

Rotations that live on the tick floor.

Aim that snaps is aim that gets read. Pillow resolves rotation targets once per tick and interpolates inside it with acceleration curves, so the pitch and yaw you actually send sit inside human-plausible bounds — with per-target FOV clamps, jitter envelopes and swing timing that never fires two hits in the same server tick.

  • Tick-aligned target resolution, sub-tick interpolation
  • Per-module FOV, smoothing, jitter and rotation-speed ceilings
  • No impossible transitions: pitch, yaw and sprint state stay legal for every packet sent

03 Signal discipline

Read-only by default. The server sees what you send.

Every module is tagged with the hook it actually uses. Render and world modules read incoming packets and the entity list — they never put a byte on the wire, so there is nothing to sample. Anything that writes state is labelled, so you always know which half of the client you are running.

  • Receive/render hooks: ESP, chams, nametags, storage scan, seed tools, chunk analysis
  • Send hooks: flight, phase and packet modules — clearly marked, never on by default
  • Friend list, panic key and safe mode wired into every feature

04 Runtime

Loads where you actually launch the game.

Pillow is a plain Fabric mod. It detects its launcher and game directory at runtime, resolves a writable config location on Windows, Linux and macOS instead of guessing at a hardcoded path, and ships a safe mode you can force from the JVM arguments when a config goes bad.

  • -Dpillow.home / PILLOW_HOME / <gameDir>/pillow / ~/.pillow — first writable wins
  • -Dpillow.safemode=true boots with every module off
  • Profiles, per-server configs and one-key import/export

The honest bit

Know which half of the client you are running.

Most clients blur the line between "this reads the world" and "this writes packets". Pillow does not. The split below is enforced in the interface — and it is the difference between a module that has nothing to detect and one that a server will catch.

Read-only

Nothing to sample

These modules subscribe to incoming packets and the entity list, then draw. No outbound packet is generated and no player state is written, so a server-side check has no signal to look at.

  • Player ESP
  • Storage ESP
  • Skeleton ESP
  • Name Tags
  • Chunk Finder
  • Ore Sim
  • Sound Locator
  • New Chunks
  • Coord Logger
  • Light Finder

Send-path

Server-observable

These write player state or emit packets. They are the ones a competent anti-cheat is built to catch, they are marked in the GUI, and they are off in the default profile.

  • Full Flight
  • Packet Fly
  • Boost
  • Jetpack
  • No Fall
  • HitBox
  • Boat Phase
  • Chorus Exploit
  • Auto Jump Reset
  • Fast Place

Runtime

It loads where you actually launch the game.

Pillow is a plain Fabric mod. Any launcher that runs the official Fabric Loader and passes your mods through will load it. Anything with a closed mod API will not, and no amount of marketing changes that.

Install

Four steps, two jars.

  1. 01

    Install Fabric

Run the Fabric installer for 1.21.4 and create a profile in your launcher.

  2. 02

    Add Fabric API

Put fabric-api-0.111.0+1.21.4.jar into the instance mods folder. It is not optional — without it the client's own resource pack and every shader silently fail to load.

  3. 03

    Add Pillow

Drop pillow-1.0.0.jar next to it. Two jars, nothing else.

  4. 04

    Launch and config

Right Shift opens the ClickGUI. Settings are written to <gameDir>/pillow, or wherever -Dpillow.home points.
